Community Relations

We are appreciative of the host community and are lucky to call it home for Rabbits Eat Lettuce. Please ensure that you are polite and friendly when passing through the local towns on the way to the festival. Please also support local businesses by shopping for supplies, meals and accommodation when traveling to/from REL. You are ambassadors for the festival and your good behaviour and attitude will ensure that the community continues to offer their support.

ATM Facilities

There will be an ATM located at the event so you can load cash onto your RFID wristband.

Phone Reception

At REL it is time to unplug from the digital and sink into the magic moment. Best to leave the phone in your car and just have fun!

However for emergencies, the venue has some limited Telstra phone reception on the top of the hill of the general campground.

Sneak-ins Policy

We work so hard all year and invest so much LOVE into this festival for everyone to enjoy. We have a ZERO tolerance for sneak-ins. If you are caught trying to sneak into the event or sneak your friends into the event you will be removed from the venue and possibly charged with trespassing.

Anyone found sneaking into the event WILL BE BLACK LISTED from all future events (including if you are caught trying to smuggle / sneak your friend into the event).

If you let someone hide in your vehicle, attempting to sneak them in, you and your car load of friends will be spending Easter Weekend elsewhere.

If your finances are tight, we highly suggest you apply to volunteer at the festival or to be involved in one of the creative programs.

Make sure to apply early, as places are limited. If you have good energy and vibes to contribute we will find a place for you xo

Is Rabbits Eat Lettuce suitable for Children

While we do allow parents to bring their children, we are confident you will have a better time if you book in a baby sitter or Grandma for the weekend so you can let your hair down and get some much needed R&R and remember what it is to be young and free again. Let's be honest, this is probably better for you and better for your children. REL does not provide any entertainment or activities for children.

That being said, if you do decide to bring your minor dependent child you MUST accompany them at ALL times.

Can I swim in the lake ?

Yes of course, bring your swimmers and inflatable flamingo friends for splashing around! We'll have lifeguards stationed at the water's edge during daylight hours, and ask that you refrain from swimming after dark for your own safety. Children must be supervised in the water at all time.

What does leave no trace mean ?

Leave your campsite just as you found it (a patch of clean grass). Plan ahead to bring home everything you bring in. An empty Esky makes the perfect place to pack your rubbish when leaving the event.

We will be collecting recyclable cans & bottles to donate to a local charity, so please drop this at our recycling drop off points.

However , It is your responsibility to bring your trash/landfill home after the event. and recycle what you can. Please do your part to keep our playground tidy during the event. Use the Bins provided. If you see people tossing litter on the ground kindly remind them where the bins are. Set a good example. Leave it Better. Leave it Beautiful!
